Born and raised in Carlsbad, California, Nicolette Hoang has firsthand experience with anxiety and other mental health challenges. As a teenager, Nicolette understands the unique struggles that come with adolecense, which inspired the creation of Indigo, an educational children’s book. Constantly creating as a means of self-care and passion, Nicolette will continue to write, draw, and aspire to make mental health education more accessible and encourage open, honest discussions about issues like anxiety that are often overlooked.
